The Library named after Fidel Rosl Goetz is one of the largest in the region and most modern in terms of service, infrastructure, and information technology applications. It has a specialized collection of resources and is well equipped with robust collection of rare and reference books on social sciences. The library is being developed with specialized resources catering to the needs of the marginalized groups (Dalits, Tribals, and Human Rights etc). The Library has stock of computer Database of print books as well as a small collection of rare and reference books on social science. The Library is computerized, and has evolved into a fully automated library environment with the support of Koha Online library software and special URL. The library's online catalogue provides an excellent starting point for anyone researching on social science on diverse current development issues. The Library has three types of membership: Individual Membership, Institutional Membership and Consultation Membership. Membership Facility for Individual Member / Student - Rs. 300/- per annum (non-refundable) Loan Facility: Rs. 3000 for 2 books to Individual and Student: Rs. 1000 for 2 books (refundable) (presently this facility is not in use) Membership Facility for Institutional Member Rs. 1000/- per annum (non-refundable) Loan Facility: Rs. 6000 for 2 books (refundable) (presently this facility is not in use) Membership for Consultation – Rs. 150/- per month (non-refundable). One day for Rs. 20 & One Week Rs. 70/-. Membership form can be obtained personally or at time of joining. /-. Library Timing is Monday to Friday, 9.30 A.M. to 5.30 P.M.
