Indian Social Institute, New Delhi invites applications from qualified and motivated individuals for the post of Researcher under the Department of Dalit Studies (DDS), Department of Tribal Studies (DTS) and Department of Women’s Studies (DWS).

Desired qualifications and responsibilites:

1. PhD. in Social Sciences or related field with some research and field experience or M.Phil. with at least 3 years of experience in research.

2. Assistance in research as well as ability to undertake independent research as per the need of the institute.

3. Documentation, investigation, participation, and organization of seminars, workshops and conferences.

4. Assist in drafting research reports and carrying out literature review and data-analysis

5. Write articles/ papers to be submitted for internal and external publications/journals as and when required.

6. Good knowledge, spoken and written, of English and Hindi.

7. Readiness to travel outside Delhi and stay overnight when required in view of research, investigation, training programmes, and workshops.
